Have you looked at how you assess how change ready your force is?
Do you know the individual/team experience of how change has been implemented before? What is the maturity of change capability in each department? What else is going on in each team/department? How do you balance this against the impact your change intitative will bring?

The Change Readiness section of the course really made me reflect and I was really keen to take the learning back to Gwent.
I’m in the process of trialing a Change Readiness Assessment process for a live project to see if its something that could be added into Gwent change processes. It seems to be going well so far, we’re getting some good information from staff about how previous change has impacted them and what we can do as a project team to help embed future change more successfully. It already feels better to be engaging more with staff affected and we’ve also used it to identify some key people who can help develop and support future change processes, so maybe even a mini change network developing within the department!
Happy to share my experiences with anyone if they are thinking of doing something similar, or would love to hear anyone’s experience of bringing it into their Force too 🙂
